"I have always approached self-tanners with a bit of caution. In the past, I've experienced streaks, unwanted orange tones and that infamous biscuit smell. So, when I decided to try the Evolve's Organic Beauty Sunless Glow Gradual Tan, I was hoping for a better experience and I am pleased to say it did not let me down.
Firstly, the ingredient list is impressive. It includes wonderful organic and natural ingredients like aloe vera, shea butter and papaya extract, which really caught my attention. The lotion itself is lightweight and has a lovely, subtle scent – definitely a refreshing change from the usual self-tanner smell.
The application process was incredibly easy. I made sure to exfoliate my skin beforehand and applied it evenly all over my body, just like a regular moisturiser. It absorbed quickly and felt comfortable on my skin, without any stickiness.
I began to notice a soft glow after just one application and within a few days, I achieved a beautiful, natural-looking tan. I appreciated the gradual process, as it allowed me to control the depth of the colour and avoid any harsh lines. The colour turned out to be very natural, without any orange tones in sight.
What I also loved is how hydrating it is. My skin felt soft and moisturised, which is a fantastic bonus, considering some self-tanners can be drying.
Overall, I am really impressed. It is easy to use, smells delightful, provides a natural-looking tan and is packed with skin-loving ingredients.
