Climate Defence Facial Cream is an untinted, reef-friendly, non-nano Zinc Oxide-based SPF 30 face cream which provides broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection.

Lingonberry stem cells help protect the skin from the damaging effects of sun radiation and free radicals whilst improving skin texture. Prickly pear cactus extract deeply hydrates and soothes the skin from irritation and Hyaluronic acid helps promote a firmer, plumper appearance whilst locking moisture into the skin.

HOW TO USE

Apply two fingers of SPF face cream to your face and neck.

Apply on top, or instead of your daily moisturiser.

If you have dry skin then you can also apply this SPF face cream on top of your daily moisturiser. Foundation can be applied as a final layer.

Lingonberry Stem Cells have protective properties against the damaging effects of sun and blue light radiation. These stem cells increase the natural antioxidant mechanism of skin cells and help to decrease skin inflammation caused by UBV radiation. They prevent skin damage caused by IR and UV radiation and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and age spots and improve firmness.

Prickly Pear is an ultra refined elixir from Mexican cactuses (known as "prickly pear"), shown to calm irritated skin whilst also having excellent hydrating properties due to high content of water binding compounds. It is exceptionally soothing and firming with strong antioxidant properties.

Hyaluronic Acid can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water making it a highly effective component in moisturisers. Hyaluronic acid helps to reduce wrinkles, making the skin look younger with an improved skin tone. We use lower molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid which penetrates deeper and has more effective hydrating properties. It also increases the production of collagen, which makes this SPF cream also great for anti-aging.

How to store?

This product is housed in a tube made of green plastic that comes from sugar cane bagasse, a waste product of the sugar industry. Life-cycle analysis done by the manufacturer of the sugarcane plastic shows that it absorbs more carbon than it generates in production. Which means you can store it anywhere you like, from your handbag to your bedside table, and once you're finished you can pop it into your normal recycling bin!
